TODAY: Morning sun then clouding up and gray. Rain or wintry mix transitions to rain with pockets of freezing rain east of the Green Mountains this afternoon. Watch for icy spots for the evening commute . A high in the upper 30s. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

TONIGHT: Cloudy. Light rain showers with pockets of freezing rain producing slick travel for a time in the evening then exiting. An early low 32 to 35 then temperatures rising some. Winds becoming southwest 10 mph.

SATURDAY: Widely scattered sprinkles or mountain flurries exiting to increasing afternoon sunshine. A high 35 to 40. Northwest winds 10 to 20 mph.
