Commission on Women, Rinktoberfest, Museum, Community Farm

In Vermont Viewpoint by WDEV Radio

Cary Brown of the Vermont Commission on Women begins the program by discussing the pandemic’s continued impact on women, paid family and medical leave and affordable child care. Then we skate up to Lyndon to learn about Rinktoberfest, an event that has been organized to raise funds for Fenton Chester Arena. We stay in the NEK for a visit to the Old Stone House Museum to learn about its rich history and the special day they have planned this weekend.  And we finish the show by learning about the Brush Brook Community Farm in Huntington and the Agricultural Gift Economy.
