TODAY: Clouds, with a few breaks of sunshine possible away from the mountains. A high mid to upper 30s. Light south winds.

TONIGHT: Cloudy. Light accumulating snow showers, possibly mixed rain valley floors and a risk for patchy drizzle. Accumulation a dusting to 2“with the most across northern higher terrain. A low 30 to 32. Southeast winds 10 to 15 mph.

WEDNESDAY: Occasional lingering flurries into the afternoon Barre-Montpelier area north. Otherwise clouds with a break or two of sun. A high in the mid-30s. Westerly breeze 10 to 15 mph.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Thickening clouds. Snow likely after midnight…possibly moderate at times toward morning up to 3” accumulation. A low in the upper teens.

THURSDAY: Gray. Accumulating snow likely…moderate at times. Several inches possible tapering to scattered snow showers and flurries in the afternoon. Blustery. Temperatures falling through the 20s and quite blustery.

FRIDAY: More clouds than sun after a stray morning flurry. Frigid. A low 5 above to 5 below. A high 10 to 15.

SATURDAY: Brief morning sunshine, then thickening clouds, leading to a chance for significant accumulating snow. A morning low zero to 10 below. A high in the mid to upper teens.
