Help Vermonters Get Through the Winter
We all know how cold the winters are in Vermont. Every year there are countless families going without heating fuel. You can help with your unused tires. Donate your tires to Wheels for Warmth to keep your tires out of the waste stream, help another Vermonter get tires they need, and raise money for emergency heating assistance for low-income Vermonters.
Started by Phil Scott in 2005, Wheels for Warmth has raised more than $400,000, sold more than 17,000 donated tires, and recycled more than 28,000 unusable tires.
All the proceeds from tire sales, disposal fees and contributions go directly to emergency heating programs at Capstone Community Action, Champlain Valley Office of Economic Opportunity, and BROC Community Action.
