Registered Nurse- MAT Program

  • Gifford is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in our practices that provide medication-assisted treatment to patients with opioid use disorder. This is a unique opportunity to work in a spectacular setting at a rural, non-profit hospital with a progressive philosophy, transparent leadership, and supportive culture. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the MAT RN will contribute to developing a patient-centered care plan which includes patient goals that coordinate substance abuse services, mental health services, clinical services and non-clinical services. The MAT RN is responsible for rooming patients, conducting vitals, electronic documentation of all patient visits and encounters, injections, and any other clinical duties required to support MAT patient visits. Must have the ability to take initiative, multi-task, and communicate well. Proper phone etiquette is required. This position will primarily be based in Randolph, with one day per week in Berlin. Must have flexibility/willingness to float to all GHC MAT practices if needed. This position is funded by the Department of Vermont Health Access. The successful candidate will have strong time management skills and the ability to work closely with providers and staff in a high volume, fast-paced practice. Prior experience preferred. Current RN licensure with the State of Vermont, and current CPR/BLS certification required. This position is 40 hours a week Monday-Friday. EOE
