9:00AM: VERMONT VIEWPOINT

WDEV's Public Affairs Program. Vermont Viewpoint is WDEV's public affairs program. It airs Monday through Friday from 9am to 11am. Hosted by Ric Cengeri. Vermont Viewpoint features important topics and important guests and your phone calls!


11:00AM: COMMON SENSE RADIO


PAID PROGRAM. Presented by The Ethan Allen Institute. Common Sense Radio airs weekdays from 11 AM to Noon on WDEV. The show, which is hosted by conservative commentator Bill Sayre, includes interviews with important political figures from around the state of Vermont, along with callers going live on the air to voice their opinions on current events.


12:00PM: MIDDAY NEWS SERVICE

Expanded reports on State and Regional news. The Mid-Day News Service airs weekdays from noon to 1:00 PM on WDEV. It is a fast-paced look at all of the news, weather, and sports from around the region.


1:00PM (WED): THE VERMONT CONVERSATION

PAID PROGRAM. Presented by VTDigger. The Vermont Conversation airs each Wednesday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Vermont author and journalist David Goodman interviews multiple guests throughout the show, and goes beyond the headlines to dive deep into issues ranging from politics, to arts, sports and sustainable business, often with an emphasis on Vermont.


2:00PM: THE GETAWAY WITH GREG HOOKER


Great music with a focus on Vermont artists. Want a break from all of the action in your day? The Getaway on WDEV is the place to find Vermont radio veteran Greg Hooker spinning a variety of roots and Americana tunes, with a focus on new music, Vermont artists, and deep tracks from heritage acts. The Getaway airs weekdays from 2 to 4 p.m. with a bonus hour beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursdays and alternating Mondays. Greg also has the Arts Calendar every Friday afternoon at 3:30 pm, spotlighting upcoming local performances.


4:00PM: THE AFTERNOON NEWS SERVICE

Updates on Local, Regional, National and International News. The Afternoon News Service airs each and every weekday from 4:00 to 5:30 PM. It includes a sports report in addition to a live weather update from WDEV meteorologist Roger Hill. The Afternoon News Service also features a live phone interview with a reporter from Vermont investigative news outlet VTDigger.org, as well as an interview with a reporter from WCAX-TV on a story that they are covering on that given day.


5:30PM: THE BRADY FARKAS SHOW


The Brady Farkas Show is a fast-paced and smart show that takes a look at the sports and teams that you care about. Brady has assembled some of the biggest and smartest names in sports to bring you an energetic and insightful show each night. You'll hear each week from Patriots broadcaster Bob Socci and Freddie Coleman of ESPN, as well as hearing daily from former Patriots quarterback and Heisman Trophy Winner, Doug Flutie!
And there's plenty of fun segments each week like "Tell the Truth Thursday" and "This Made Me Want to Drink," which are sure to entertain and inform you.


7:00PM: DINNER JAZZ

Dinner Jazz airs weekday nights from 6:30 to 9:00 PM on WDEV, but may be precluded by a sporting event. We play some of the greatest jazz hits from the past 40 years each night to end Vermonter's workdays.
