TONIGHT (NEW YEARS EVE): Mainly cloudy. Areas of fog. Scattered light rain light showers…mixed with wet snow flakes and spotty freezing rain thru mid-evening…then drying up. An evening low near 30. Light south winds.

: Overcast. Occasional light rain arriving before late morning. Areas of fog. Warmer. A high in the low 40s. South to southeast winds 10 mph.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Overcast. Occasional light rain with a risk for freezing rain and some light icing…changing to snow far northern areas after midnight. A low about 30 to 35.

SUNDAY: Cloudy. Periods of light snow, or snow showers. A dusting to 2” with the most northern areas. An early high 30 to 35, then sharply colder with temperatures falling thru the 20s into the teens in the afternoon.

SUNDAY NIGHT: Scattered evening snow showers or flurries exiting with a light coating of fluffy snow. A low in the single digits with lowering wind chills.
